• Track to be supported on mushroom steel columns 14'0 or 4.25m away from main wall of shrine
• Columns to be treated as lighted stanchion
• Fully sealed air condition not possible through coll air to be supplied thru floor of sehan

• Almost 80% area shall be in shadeon either side of shrine
• Minimal (Almost 0% support on main shrine may be fastened during storm to present uplift)
• Diginified structural element w/filegiri metal work and caligraphy (w/backlit) on track tie member
• When ope only portion one sees in the sofit of 4 tracks and ties fully complimentary to islamic style

Negative

• Presence of mushroom columns in the sehan
• Not so efficient a/c system through well provide air circulation

THE MAJESTIC AND HISTORICAL MARBLE MAUSOLEUM, MUMBAI

ROUDAT TAHERA, a majestic marble mausoleum, graces the heart of Central Mumbai, immortalizing into eternity the life, the teachings and the ideals of His Holiness Dr. Syedna Taher Saifuddin (AQ), 51st Dai-al-Mutlaq. Constructed in !975 with height of 108 feet (33 m). The dome is 52 feet (16 m) high as its crowning feature. A 12 feet (3.7 m) high gold finial stands sentinel over the dome.

Roudat Tahera is one of the most significant examples of Islamic Architecture. The incredible design features and the excellent workmanship make this mausoleum a remarkable monument in the world.

Tricone Engineers prepared work schedule to Fast track the exterior restoration work within a specified time frame, setup documentation control to record existing condition of entire exterior marble slabs, design and erection of scaffolding system till dome level to entail work at all levels simultaneously to achieve the constrained time frame of only three months to complete Phase-1.

Raudat tahera is a mausoleum which is built in white marble.

The demolition, infrastructure and building consruction in the area surrounding the mausoleum will cause dust and other forms of pollution.

The proposed shelter will protect the structure from deterioration due to dust, pollution and also from rains in the monsoon.

Being lightweight and flexible; fabric interacts better with natural forces than a rigid material, this combined with its daytime translucency and night-time luminosity gives a magical feeling of being outdoors, combined with the security and comfort of indoors.

MAZAAR-E-FAKHRI, is a majestic marble mausoleum, immortalizing into eternity the life, the teachings and the ideals of Sayedi Fakhruddin Shaheed. This mausoleum was constructed in marble about 80 years ago.

Mazaar-E-Fakhri is one of the most distingushed examples of islamic Architecture. The incredible carvings in marble both onto the exteriors and interiors , and the excellent workmanship make this mausoleum a remarkable monument.

THE MAJESTIC AND HISTORICAL MARBLE MAUSOLEUM, AHMEDABAD

Scope Of Work

The exterior re-pointing and re-grouting of marble joints at dome and flat roofs, waterproofing of lower roof, correcting the slopes at mouldings for positive flow of water, sealing the exterior marble slabs, and re-grouted joints with protective sealants is to be done as recommended in restoration report to “WATER TIGHT” the exterior of the monument.

The interior restoration of all interior marble surfaces should be carried out only after the successful completion and proper testing of all exterior work.
